Terms of use
Version of October 29, 2026.
This is an English translation provided for convenience. If there is any difference, the Portuguese version prevails.
1. Who provides the service
Provado (provadoseo.com) is provided by Eduardo Coelho Nogueira, an individual, with address at Rua Cabral, 2007, Aeroporto, 79332-030 Corumbá (MS), Brazil ("Provado" or "we"). Contact: [email protected].
2. Who it is for
Provado is a service for agencies and digital marketing professionals, who use it in their professional activity. It is not intended for consumers. By creating an account, you declare that you act on behalf of a business or as a professional, for the purposes of your activity. For this reason, the rules specific to consumer contracts, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal, do not apply.
3. What the service does
Provado visits the public pages of the websites the agency enters and checks technical SEO points. It stores the results, an image of the top of each page and a copy of the code (HTML) of the pages checked. With this, it generates PDF and PNG reports with the agency's name, logo and colors.
Provado does not change websites, does not fix issues itself and does not access restricted areas.
The agency may add a note about other work to the report. That note is the agency's responsibility and is not a fix confirmed by Provado.
4. Limits of the results
The report covers only the pages and checks carried out. It is not a complete audit of the website. When a website blocks visits or does not respond, the report states that the page was not checked. The images show only the top of the page, and some fixes are not visible in them.
Provado does not promise rankings on Google or other search engines, nor increases in traffic, leads or sales. Those results depend on factors Provado does not control.
5. Account and access
To use Provado you need to create an account and confirm your email. The agency must provide true information, keep the password secret, give access only to people on its team and let us know if it suspects misuse of the account.
Some accounts and websites go through a manual review before the first check, for example when the email is from a free service. We may refuse an account or a website when there are signs of abuse or lack of permission.
6. Agency obligations
The agency guarantees that it:
- has permission from the owner of each website for Provado to visit it automatically and store the images and HTML needed for the report;
- enters only public pages, without sensitive data (such as health data) or restricted areas;
- complies with data protection law towards its clients and the people who appear on the websites;
- reviews each report before sending it to its client;
- does not use the service to visit websites without permission, overload websites or collect personal data.
The agency is responsible towards its client for what it communicates in the report and for the notes it adds, and is responsible towards us for the damage it causes by using the service without the permission of a website owner.
7. How Provado visits websites
The checker identifies itself as a bot, follows the rules in the robots.txt file, makes at most one request per second to each website and waits at most 15 seconds for each response. It slows down or stops when the website asks. It does not get around blocks, captchas or other protections. When the website blocks visits, the report states that the check was blocked by the website.
8. Free trial, plans and payment
- Free trial: no time limit and no card, with 1 active website and up to 5 pages.
- Paid plans: "Up to 5 websites" and "Up to 15 websites", both with up to 5 pages per website, billed monthly. The current price is shown on the home page and on the Account page before you subscribe.
- VAT: prices do not include VAT. Because Provado is established outside the European Union and sells only to businesses and professionals, sales to customers in the European Union are subject to the reverse charge: VAT is accounted for by the customer in their own country (Article 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC). Enter your VAT number when subscribing.
- Payment is made by card, through Stripe. Provado does not see or store card details. The subscription renews every month until it is canceled.
- On the Account page (Stripe portal) you can change plan, update the payment method, view invoices and cancel.
- Changing plan takes effect immediately. Stripe prorates the amount on the next invoice.
- Canceling takes effect at the end of the period already paid: until then, the plan stays active. We do not refund periods that have already started, except in case of a billing error on our part or where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, the account immediately moves to the free trial limit (1 active website) and Stripe tries to charge again. If the payment keeps failing after those attempts, the subscription is canceled.
- When the subscription ends, the account returns to the free trial limit: 1 active website. The other websites are paused, and the saved data and reports are not deleted.
- We notify any price change by email at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before it takes effect.
9. Availability
Provado is at an early stage. We do our best to keep it available, but we do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation. There may be interruptions for maintenance or due to supplier failures. At this stage the service runs on a single server, which may make some interruptions longer.
10. Ownership and content
The software, design and texts of Provado belong to its owner. The agency keeps the rights to its name, logo and notes, and authorizes us to use them only to provide the service. The agency may freely use the generated reports with its clients.
11. Personal data
The processing of data is described in the Privacy policy. As for the content of the clients' websites (images, HTML and reports), which may contain personal data, Provado processes it on behalf of the agency, as a processor, under the Data processing agreement in the Annex, which the agency accepts with these terms.
12. Deleting the account and suspension
The agency can delete the account at any time on the Account page. We first cancel any subscription on Stripe; then we delete the agency, the clients, the checks, the images, the HTML, the reports and the logo. This cannot be undone. Files the agency has already downloaded or sent are not deleted. Stripe keeps the customer record and the invoices, as tax law requires.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, with prior notice whenever possible.
13. Liability
We are liable for the damage we cause by not complying with these terms, within these limits:
- we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, loss of clients or opportunities, or decisions the agency or its clients make based on the reports;
- our total liability, in each 12-month period, is limited to the amount the agency paid us in that period; on the free trial, to 50 euros.
These limits do not apply in case of intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We always publish the new version on this page, with the date. When the change is important, we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel or delete the account before the change takes effect.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Before going to court, the parties try to solve the problem by email for 30 days. If there is no agreement, the court of the district of Lisbon has jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rules of law.
16. Communications
We communicate with you through the account email. You can write to us at [email protected].
ANNEX: DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT (Article 28 GDPR)
1. Parties and subject
The agency is the controller and Provado is the processor. This agreement applies to the personal data that may exist in the content of the websites the agency enters in Provado: images, HTML, results and reports.
2. Nature and purpose
Visiting the public pages entered by the agency, storing images and HTML, checking technical SEO points and generating reports, only to provide the service to the agency.
3. Data and data subjects
The personal data published on those pages, for example names, photos or contact details of people who appear on the website. The data subjects are the people who appear on those websites. The service is not intended for special categories of data, and the agency must not enter pages that contain them.
4. Duration
For as long as the account exists. When the agency deletes the account, or deletes a client, we immediately delete the corresponding content. Before deleting the account, the agency can download the reports.
5. Provado's obligations
Provado undertakes to:
- process the data only on the documented instructions of the agency, which are the settings it makes in Provado and this agreement, unless required by law (in which case it informs the agency beforehand, if the law allows);
- inform the agency if an instruction seems to infringe the law;
- ensure that anyone who accesses the data is bound by confidentiality;
- apply the security measures described in the Privacy policy;
- help the agency, as far as reasonable, to respond to data subject requests and to meet the obligations of Articles 32 to 36 GDPR;
- notify the agency without undue delay, and no later than 48 hours after becoming aware of it, of any data breach affecting its content;
- delete the data at the end of the service, as set out in point 4;
- give the agency the information needed to demonstrate compliance with this agreement and allow reasonable audits, with 30 days' prior notice and at most once a year, unless required by an authority. The costs of the audit are borne by the agency.
6. Sub-processors
The agency authorizes the suppliers listed in the Privacy policy (Supabase, Google Cloud, Cloudflare and Brevo). We notify by email, 30 days in advance, the addition of a new supplier that processes this content. The agency may object on reasonable grounds; if we do not reach an agreement, it may cancel and delete the account before the change. We impose on each supplier data protection obligations equivalent to those in this agreement.
7. Transfers
The content may be processed outside the European Economic Area as described in the "Transfers" section of the Privacy policy.
